Foiled Hardcover (Case Wrap or Dust Jacket)

Hot Foil Stamping: Classic, luxurious raised foil on the cover, spine, and/or back. Choose from Gold, Silver, Rose Gold, Copper, Holographic, or Colored Foils.

Digital Foiling / Spot UV: A flatter, glossy alternative that can achieve intricate, photorealistic designs

Cover Material: Linen, paper, or leatherette case wrap. The substrate affects the foil's final look and texture.

Customization: Foil can be used for titles, author names, logos, borders, and full illustrative designs. Debossing (pressing the design into the cover) is often combined with foil for a tactile effect.

Sprayed / Stained Edges

Solid Opaque Spray: Full, rich color coverage.

Metallic Spray: Adds a shimmering effect under light.

Underneath Spray: Color is only visible when the book is closed (clean look when open).

Designer Effects: Marbling (highly popular), splatter, or ombre/gradient fades (e.g., pink fading to gold). Note: These often require a specialist printer.

Interior Printing & Paper

Paper Stock: Cream or white paper (70-100gsm) is standard. Cream reduces eye strain and adds a vintage, warm feel.

Ink: Standard black. For truly premium runs, some printers offer dark brown ink on cream paper for an antique look.

Additional Premium Features

Ribbon Marker: A satin ribbon (color-matched to the edges or endpapers) sewn into the binding.

Head & Tail Bands: Cloth bands at the top and bottom of the spine, both decorative and structural.

Endpapers: Optional blank/matching cream endpapers (first/last pages).
